Mas springs from an idea of its two founders, Mauro Mancini and Elisa Sansoni.

In 2004, supported by their analysis of the whole (retail and public facilities) real estate market and by their insights about the current projects being planned in the public domain, they decided to enter the business, putting into deal her competences in communication and teaching and his competences in advisoring, designing, r.e. development, property and asset management.

Mas sparred or worked jointly with several industrial groups, retailers, real estate companies, logistics players and research groups. Mas has started a dialogue with the public administration of the main Italian cities, provinces, and regions.

Mas pioneered multifunctional projetcs in Italy, as it collaborated to the realisation of the first development of a football stadium into a multi-service facility (leisure, fitness, shopping, services). Mas introduced a unique touch in the development of housing resorts from formerly country estates.
